Last night I made block 47. I REALLY love this block! Super easy with freezer paper piecing, it went together a lot faster than I expected.I recently joined the Nearly Insane Yahoo group, and this block is a challenge block for either this week or next week. I need to find out if the date on the list is the date the challenge starts, or the date you must finish your block by. So, either way, I've finished the challenge block for one of those weeks :-) I was going to do the challenge block previous to this one also, but I'm not sure I'm ready for it yet. There is only one week left of my holidays, so it may be that in the future I only get to do the challenge each week - lucky this is going to be a long term project.
I like this one very much and I like the way you mix your fabrics - I still find that quite difficult (that's why I'm sticking to the safety of red and white!) I'm doing them in numerical order, which means I had to face two difficult ones in the first 20 blocks. All I can say is that I'm glad they are out of the way. I'm doing most of them with foundation piecing. This one of yours has inspired me to get started again on my next one, 17.
