What do you think of the fabric in the centre there as a candidate for the sashing strips in my quilt? I have a decent chunk of it, it's actually a Judie Rothermel Sturbridge Village backing fabric, and one of my favourite fabrics also.I was hoping to find something that might calm the quilt down with all the wildly coloured blocks, and this could be just the ticket. Do you like it?

I think that you need to make a few more blocks first and get over the need to calm before you choose :-)

You're both right girls, I can't even imagine why I'm thinking so far ahead already. It would be fun to put a corner together ... but I'm not really close to that either!
