Block #51 - Sarah

Block #51 - Yahoo group's challenge block this week. I had to redo the setting corner triangles after the pic because I noticed that I had no seam allowance. I changed the coloring a little by making the spokes the same color as the anvil head portion of the center. What do you think?

Such a cute block Sarah, I really like the cheddar fabric, and the colour placement you've chosen. Wonderful!

A lovely block! I think it's amazing how differently these blocks can be interpreted - a friend and I have done the same blocks and it is hard for each of us to recognise the same ones in the other's choices. This quilt is so strict in its structural demands but so wide open to variation in looks.
